Reus City Council transfers the iSAD application to the AOC

Hèstia incorporates new inquiries from Via Oberta
On October 4, the City Council of Reus formalized the transfer of the iSAD program, an application for home care management, to the Consorci Administración Oberta de Catalunya. The ISAD was developed by the municipal society of the City Council of Reus Reus Mobility and Services, in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Families of the Generalitat de Catalunya, through the Catalan Institute of Social Assistance and Services (ICASS), with the aim of improving the management of aid services at home
The AOC aims to offer a comprehensive solution for local social services. ISAD is a complementary solution to Hestia, which facilitates management, control and business intelligence of home help services, aimed at providing personal care, home help and social support to those people and / or families with development difficulties or social integration or lack of personal autonomy. It is currently being used by various councils throughout Catalonia.
The AOC, with the aim of encouraging the reuse of successful e-government applications developed in the public sector of Catalonia, intends to evaluate, adapt and integrate iSAD with Hestia. This process will begin in the second quarter of 2018 and, if all goes well, the AOC is expected to be able to start offering it at the end of the same year. During this transitional period, the iSAD service will continue to be provided by Reus City Council.
