This second edition of the seminar aims to assess the current situation of the implementation of the Law 19/2014, of December 29, on transparency, access to public information and good governance, and explore opportunities for improvement, with an emphasis on active advertising.
On the one hand, the speakers and participants analyze the obligations of active publicity of the Administration of the Generalitat and its public sector, and share how to disseminate the application criteria and their practical expression. On the other hand, the sessions also serve to identify best practices through existing experiences, delineate interpretative doubts, address improvement challenges and assess the opportunity for the development of obligations through regulatory deployment.
The review of compliance with the Law is structured in four different thematic sessions that will be eminently practical and interactive and each will include the treatment of various areas of transparency.
An introductory explanation will be given at each session which will consist of an explanation of the current criteria, how the Act is being complied with, what challenges and problems it poses, the prospects for improvement and change, and its implications for regulatory deployment. These issues will be discussed later.
