The new certificate issuance application comes into operation

The new application of the T-CAT Registration Entities and the new Subscriber Folder will go into production on 19/04/2016 at 08:00.

During the lasteres For weeks you have already been carrying out the tasks necessary for putting it into production and you have also been attending training sessions where the change was explained.

Now that the date is approaching, we would like to remind you of the main changes that this migration will entail:

  • Certificates that are not in card format will be generated at the time the service manager delivers them (including the T-CAT P). The tasks of the Registration Entity will end at the time of approval.
  • The process of delivering the T-CAT P is done from the same place as the rest of the certificates
  • Device certificates (server certificates, electronic headquarters, application certificates, and electronic seals) they will no longer be able to be downloaded as many times as desired. The download will be unique and if you want to save the certificate you will need to do so by each entity.
  • The delivery of the certificates will not require the signature of the person in charge of the virtual registration entity of each entity.

We remind you that the operators of the Registration Entity they will need to make the following changes:

  • Have the latest JAVA version installed download from here
  • If you want to work with Chrome you will need to install an extension that will require it at the time of delivery and just follow the steps marked. If you want to work with Internet Explorer you do not need to install anything.

The entry into production of the new application and the new Subscriber Folder will not affect the certificates issued (they will continue to be vàlids) and neither the operation of the issuance and revocation requests that are made by theEACAT .

En this link You will find in the manuals of use of this new application.

To be able to make all the platform changes on Tuesday, April 14 at 15pm, the AOC Consortium Digital Certification Service will be stopped and you will not be able to perform certificates application or revocation tasks, you will have to have certificates generated (all certificates that are not generated by this date will be lost). The service will be restored on Tuesday, the 19th at 8 a.m.
