The Calella City Council is committed to digital identification through theidCAT Mobile and makes it possible for the citizens of Calella to request it in person on the ground floor of the town hall.
The IdCAT Mòbil is the alternative user identification system to digital certificates and a convenient and secure alternative to identify yourself digitally before Catalan public administrations.idCAT Mobile is based on sending one-time passwords to the mobile phone at the time the person completes the online procedure. It is a secure and free system that does not require the installation of any software or remembering any password. In addition, it does not expire over time and allows identification and signing from any mobile phone, tablet or computer.
How to get it?
Who wants to have theidCAT Mobile can be registered in less than a minute through the service website or, in the case of Calella, in person on the ground floor of the town hall. If you are a foreigner, you can only register in person. Please note that only those citizens over the age of 16 can register.
To register online, citizens only need to provide their date of birth, their ID number and the barcode of their CatSalut Health Card. If the user already has the digital certificate (idCAT, DNIe...) you will only need to add the mobile phone number.
Once registered, each time the user wants to check the status of their files or process with idCAT Mobile, a password will be sent to your mobile phone via text message (SMS) which will be vàlidfor 30 minutes.
