The concept of open government is based on the fundamental principles of transparència, participation i collaboration, whose purpose is to open the door to the management of public issues for the public.
In order to identify the analogy and possible applications with respect to it opening philosophy and inspirational principles government open to the field of justice, the report has been released Open Justice: transparència and proximity of justice within the current context of Open Government, a search by Carlos E. Jiménez Gómez.
It is a report aimed at establishing the fit of processes with the philosophy of the Open Government and its principles (mainly participation, collaboration, transparència) within a new concept of Administration of Justice in the model of Civil Law with a perspective of Open Justice.
With special attention to the Common Law and comparative law, 105 initiatives are analyzed at the international level and based on 23 variables, three cases are selected and explained where principles of participation, collaboration and transparència are applied in the field of justice.
The methodology includes documentary analysis, data analysis,erespai (semantic analysis of social networks), a survey conducted with 117 people, and interviews with experts. The results speak about innovation, openness, access and proximity of justice, ICT in the legal field, change management and modernization, as well as transparència, participation and collaboration in the field of justice. It ends with some conclusions, future work and recommendations.
