On September 25, 2015, the DOGC published theOrder ECO / 295/2015, of 18 September, approving the application of the Electronic Procurement Processor (TEEC), for the electronic processing of procurement procedures for public sector entities of the Administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya, including Catalan universities.
This is a simplified processing tool, aimed at contracting units, which allows the internal management of procurement files, which supports the different phases of the processing and adapts to the needs of all types of public sector entities. Many of the functionalities offered by this application will facilitate and even ensure compliance with certain provisions of the regulations on public sector contracts. Likewise, it will also be a key element in guaranteeing the comprehensive compliance with the provisions contained in Law 19/2014, of 29 December, of transparència, access to information and good governance, relating to the transparència in public procurement.
The TEEC is currently in the pilot phase and once this phase is completed, a study will need to be carried out on its deployment and implementation by the AOC Consortium in local public administrations throughout the country.ereshealthy.
