Sabadell City Council has launched the second edition of the OpenDataSBD open data portal, an initiative that gives new impetus to the Open Government and enables progress towards the achievement of the Sabadell Smart City strategy.
In 2012, Sabadell was one of the pioneering cities in Spain in the initiative to open up public data to make it available to the public in digital and standard format.
OpenDataSBD allows citizens to use the data to facilitate access to information and thus open the door to new business opportunities, such as the creation of applications or new information integration services. The aim of this new edition is to offer a set of more than 400 diversified data with simpler and more comprehensible catalogs (city agenda, municipality budget, transport, etc.).
