- Open Data and Transparency
To promote Smart Administrations, access to data with public value from the private sector is necessary.
The magazine Actualidad Administrativa, in its July-August 2014 issue, has published a special monographic issue on Open Government and Open Data.
This special issue, which is based on a series of articles, aims to provide a broad and diverse view of the ideas of open government and open data, answering both those issues that are already being worked on in a multitude of Public administrations, as if debating those aspects that are still to be explored.
Topics covered in this monograph include: introduction to concepts, local experiences in Spain or perspectives on open data.

Recently, the Orange Foundation has published a study on the development of the information society in Spain, and in which the open data policies of the different levels of administration are specifically analyzed.
