The Mobile World Congress, to be held in Barcelona from 24 to 28 February, has been the venue chosen to present a mobile phone-based authentication pilot using digital certificates to access the Health Folder and incorporating the digital certificate for to citizens of the AOC Consortium, IdCAT. The AOC Consortium has used in this pilot the mobile application developed by the Catalan company Safelayer, which is also the company that provides the technology for the IdCAT and TCAT digital certificates. The stand of the Mobile World Capital Barcelona Foundation (MWCB) will host the pilot test of access to the Personal Health Folder (CPS) through this application.
This pilot aims to validate the ease and security of access to Personal Health Folder information through mobile app authentication with digital certificates.
