Generative AI: from euphoria to reality (also in Public Administration)
While members of the G-7 (formerly G8) pledged, in the summer of 2013, to make the data they generate open by default and usable for everyone, many of their data action plans are currently in place. open show hesitations and difficulties to ensure the gratuitousness of their data.
These findings have emerged from the analysis conducted by the Sunlight Foundation, which has been following the development of the G8 Open Data Charter since it was signed. G8 leaders agreed to follow five open data principles and publish their own national action plans detailing how to implement the Charter. Four countries have failed to launch their plans by the October 2013 deadline, and Germany has not yet published its plan.
In the next article, examines all available G-7 national action plans (in addition to the EU) and compares them with the agreements made in the Open Data Charter. The analysis focuses on detecting trends, best practices found and areas for improvement.
