The EACAT is the communication channel to the town councils of the result of the update of the Census of Sports Equipment of Catalonia (CEEC)

For the municipalities where the fieldwork phase of the process of updating the Census of Sports Facilities of Catalonia (CEEC) has been completed, the Catalan Sports Council will send, through theEACAT, the list with summary data of all the sports facilities registered.
The basic data of the facilities are published on the CEEC website http://www.gencat.cat/)
The maintenance of the updated CEEC is essential for the calculation of the needs and deficits of the Master Plan for Sports Facilities and Equipment of Catalonia (PIEC) and for the execution of the subsidy programs provided for in its implementation.

With the aim of permanent updating, a procedure has been established that allows proposals for additions, cancellations or modifications to be made, through the file of each installation published on the Internet or through the mailbox of specific contact of the CEEC (equipament.cce.presidencia@gencat.cat).

In this way, the Catalan Sports Council makes all the information collected available to the councils and establishes the mechanisms to keep the data of the sports facilities of the municipalities up to date. Sharing this information and updating it in a homogeneous way will allow the exchange of data and avoid duplication of effort by the two administrations on this issue.
