The EACAT will connect the electronic records of the General Administration of the State and the Catalan public administrations

El Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations (MINHAP) and the AOC Consortium have agreed to connect the electronic records of the General State Administration (AGE) bodies with the electronic records of the Catalan public administrations through the Extranet of the Catalan Administrations (EACAT).

The EACAT is the AOC Consortium platform that has already interconnected the electronic records of more than 1400 Catalan public bodies. In this way, Catalan public administrations will not have to make any technological adaptations to their systems and will not have to face any implementation or maintenance costs.

With the integration that the AOC Consortium will make, scheduled for the third quarter of 2014, theEACAT will allow sending submissions to AGE bodies and AGE submissions can be received in the entry register associated with EACAT.

The collaboration between the AOC Consortium and the Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations (MINHAP) will facilitate inter-administrative processing and one-stop shop for citizens.
