The City Council of Manresa has presented this December the new open government portal to improve the information it offers to citizens about municipal activity, in line with actions linked to strengthening the transparència and the proximity of the city government's action.
The new portal is structured in several sections that offer content in various fields in order to universalize access to data to all citizens, as is done from the municipal website, but in a more centralized, broad and detailed.
The portal is structured in the following sections;
- Open data: section dedicated to open data where you can find complete information about the city on the agenda of events, entities, facilities, economic activities, streets, itineraries or population statistical information, among others.
- Transparència: which includes several indicators that measure the level of transparència of municipal websites, the Index of Transparència of the City Councils (ITA) or the Infoparticipa indicator of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), as well as the global city indicators.
- Municipal budget: allows the user to select the time periods and the type of query they want to perform.
- Government plan: detailed information on both the government programs promoted by the municipal government in the period 2012-2015 and the degree of compliance with the actions and actions that derive from them. The same structure can be found in the measures related to the city pact.
- Participation: includes the various areas of participation that Manresa City Council offers to citizens structured in direct participation tools, such as social networks; spaces for participation through municipal councils or through entities.
