Gava Open is the open data portal of the Gavà City Council, which makes available certain administration databases without any technical or legal limitation of use, and in a reusable format. Citizens, companies and institutions can make free use of this data to consult it or to develop applications.
This initiative aims to promote the transparència and democratic control, generate innovation and wealth in society, improve effectiveness and efficiency so that citizens and organizations can create collaborative services with the Administration and facilitate the interoperability between the administrations.
The dades that can be found there are very diverse: associations, businesses, municipal accounting data, city facilities, etc.
The platform allows you to compare, visualize, analyze data and share your findings in real time. In this way, then, the solution allows: flexible metadata management, interoperability with data with other organizations, analyzing the success of the initiative in real time, basic and advanced functions for different types of users, the possibility of co-creation, etc.
