Generative AI: from euphoria to reality (also in Public Administration)
The European Commission has published the results of its periodic comparative analysis of the development of eGovernment in the European Union and associated states. In this report, Spain is among the first countries to have an e-government focused on citizenship and is a leader in the provision of mechanisms for identifying citizenship on the Internet.
As in the previous report, in 2012, Spain is part of the group of countries in the lead in the availability of public services via the Internet and in the development of key services that facilitate e-government. These include the provision of digital means of identification so that citizens can make use of online services (especially the use of digital certificates) or the possibility of managing electronic documents in the different services.

Overall, the report highlights that the usability of online services in the European Union is improving, but slowly.
