The second will take place on October 16 Open Government Day in Terrassa. If in the first day Open Government Terrassa was talked about transparency and open data, with existing good practices, in this second day the content is focused on participation, as one of the great challenges of the Open Government.
In this way, the participation is one of the great challenges to which we must direct our efforts to allow and encourage the collaboration of citizens in the development of policies and public decision-making, leading to greater co-responsibility on the part of civil society in the construction of cities, advancing towards new models of co-production.
The Conference will also allow to know the impact that supposes for the public administrations the new Law of Transparency.
From the hand of some of the leading companies in the market, we will also talk about Big Data, a concept closely linked to smart cities, valuing the different technological solutions available to institutions to transform and take advantage of this information.
