The agreement of the Government of the Generalitat de Catalunya was published today in the DOGC 151/2014, of 11 November, on the general point of entry of electronic invoices in Catalonia, which declares the electronic invoicing service of the AOC Consortium, e. FACT, as a general entry point for electronic invoices for the entire public sector of the Catalan administrations.
Specifically, the agreement establishes that the e.FACT service of the Consortium of Open Administration of Catalonia is the general point of entry of electronic invoices of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia, in accordance with article 6.1 of the Law 25/2013, of December 27, on the promotion of electronic invoices and the creation of the accounting register of invoices.
The agreement allows to promote the use of electronic invoicing in Catalonia taking advantage of the leading initiative in the State of the e.FACT service and to comply with the state law, which establishes the obligation from January 15, 2015 that all public administrations receive invoices in electronic format.

There are currently 388 public bodies affiliated to the e.FACT service, and 708 companies invoice electronically to the Catalan administrations. The number of electronically managed invoices already amounts to 161.420 invoices in total, of which almost 74.000 in 2014.
