According to "Outstanding indicators of the Information Society in Spain", published by the ONTSI, the 95% of public services in Spain are available online 84% of the average in the EU.
These indicators are a compilation of the main indicators in the ICT and SI sector, with data from the most relevant official sources. It offers the most current values both nationally and in the European Union to be able to make an international comparison between the two. In addition to the latest existing data, the immediately previous data is also shown, thus allowing to know the current situation of the SI together with its most recent evolution.
Other notable figures are that 49% of citizens have used the Internet to deal with the Public Administration, compared to 41% of the EU average and that 16,2% of Spanish companies receive electronic invoices, which is not a high figure, but is 6 points above the European average.
THENational Observatory on Telecommunications and the Information Society (ONTSI) is a body attached to the public business entity Red.es, its main objective is the monitoring and analysis of the Telecommunications sector and the Information Society.
