Code for america recently published a study on open data entitled Beyond Transparency. Open Data and the Future of Civic Innovation.

Code for america is a non-governmental organization created in 2010 that promotes the opening of data for the development of apps that help people live better.

Beyond Transparency is a multi-disciplinary study on the open data scenario, where participants share case studies on the challenges achieved with open data initiatives.
