The Congress of Deputies has approved the Law 25/2013, of December 27, on the promotion of electronic invoices and the creation of the accounting register of invoices in the Public Sector. This law is approved in the framework of the planned actions of the reform of public administrations and is part of the plan to eradicate delinquency in the public sector, which includes a set of conjunctural and structural measures to reduce delinquency in the payment of debts to suppliers by the administrations.
