The campaign "Collective Creations of Rural Agents 2013" began on March 15 and ends on October 15, 2013. Authorizations must be requested through the platform EACAT, a tool that speeds up data management and processing.
El Decree 64/1995, of 7 March, which establishes forest fire prevention measures, includes (in Article 16) the possibility of granting extraordinary authorizations to make creams between March 15 and October 15, an activity prohibited by Article 15 of the same decree.
In recent years, close collaboration has been established between the local administrations and the Generalitat in the management of the authorizations for the burning of agricultural waste. In total, more than 6.500 have been processed so far in Catalonia.
