Access to public information: a fundamental right of citizenship
Today it was published in the DOGC no. 6382, the Resolution of May 17, 2013 relating to the manner in which local corporations are required to submit the General Account to the Audit Office by electronic means.
This submission of local corporations is done through the EOCAT Platform of the AOC Consortium.
As the Audit Office wishes to refine, improve and complete the information received and also to facilitate its transmission to the Court of Auditors, this Agreement, which is applicable to the submission of the general accounts for the year 2012 and onwards, incorporate the following novelties:
1) Before submitting the accounts, the validator of the internal coherence of the data of the accounts and statements, available on the institutional website, must be used.
2) It is necessary to use the xml format instead of pdf for the Memory file; its xsd schema is available on the institutional website as well as the tool for the elaboration of the mentioned file.
3) The documentation must be submitted in full, especially with regard to the files relating to section b) of the first agreement and d.1, d.2 and d.3 of the second and third agreements, relating to the Treasury of the entity, so that the General Account is considered duly received and so that the local corporation does not incur any non-compliance with the consequences it entails.
