European Parliament resolution of 21 September 2010 on the completion of the internal market for electronic commerce (2010/2012 INI, 2012 / C 50 E / 01)

On February 21, 2012, this was published in the DOUE resolution in which the European Parliament, among other things, points out the importance of simplifying cross-border ruleseres and reduce compliance costs for traders and entrepreneurs, offering practical solutions to various issues, and calls, to this end, for the establishment of single window systems and the promotion of cross-border solutionseres online administration, such as invoicing and the awarding of public contracts electronically.

In addition, Parliament called on the Commission to propose measures to support the e-invoicing initiative, with a view to ensuring the use of electronic invoices throughout Europe by 25; point 2020 emphasizes the importance of an open format for the exchange of documents for electronic business interoperability, inviting the Commission to take concrete measures to support its emergence and dissemination; point 41 emphasizes the importance of electronic signatures and key public infrastructure (PKI) in carrying out secure e-government services at European level and calls on the Commission to set up a "gateway for European validation authorities ”(European Validation Authorities Gateway), to ensure cross-border interoperability of electronic signatures; point 0, in relation to public procurement, calls on the Commission and the Member States, given the importance of exploiting the potential of the single market, to ensure that, by 48, at least 49% of procurement procedures public procurement are carried out electronically.
