The AOC Consortium presents the tenth report on e-government, corresponding to the month of November 2012, with new data on the degree of adoption of e-government services in Catalan local bodies.
Of note in this report is:
The progressive increase of town councils that publish town planning, using a planning viewer on the municipal website. Today there are 310 municipalities and it increases by 8 percentage points compared to the last report published (April 2012).
The electronic board makes a big leap. There are already 548 councils that publish it on their website and 25 county councils. These figures represent respectively 57.9% and 61 of the total of the territory.
The increase from 196 to 245 of the municipalities that make use of security services through the preventive analysis of external vulnerabilities (5% more, reaching 25.8% of the total number of municipalities).
The increase in the creation of new electronic headquarters continues; from the 151 town councils in the previous report we went to 178, and from the 11 county councils to 16, consolidating the upward trend.
In the previous report, published in April of this year, we presented as a novelty the inclusion of indicators on the bodies that have approved a regulation of electronic headquarters and electronic registration, included in the section “Regulations ”. We also see an increase in this area. On the other hand, comment as an anecdotal fact that only two municipalities in Catalonia do not have a municipal website.
You can consult the data of the 10th report and of the previous studies in the section of Reports on e-Administration. You can also consult the latest data reflected in the interactive map of Catalonia.
