The Castellar del Vallès Town Council passed on July 17 one electronic administration ordinance. In section 28 of this ordinance electronic notifications are regulated, which may be carried out with the consent of the interested partyeressat or mandatory in the cases specified in annex II of the ordinance.
The ordinance presents an innovation in the management of the consent of the interessat, which is regulated in point 5 of article 28: the administration may understand that the citizen consents to receiving electronic notifications when he provides his contact details by electronic means, that is, his email and/or mobile. From the AOC Consortium we understand that this point will significantly promote the use of electronic notifications by the City Council and at the same time reduce the number of notifications that will be made on paper, which will lead to significant savings in time and money by the administration.
