The Catalan Data Protection Authority publishes a basic guide to data protection for local authorities

This one Guide It is a first approach to the principles, guarantees and obligations that local bodies must take into account in their actions, in order to adjust it to what is established in the regulations for the protection of personal data. It sets out the fundamental principles and the most relevant obligations, referring both to the regulations applicable in each case, as well as to some examples of the most frequently asked queries.
