In order to address the need to respond to the correct preservation of the electronic files of the Generalitat de Catalunya that have already been resolved, an agreement has been signed between the Department of Culture and the AOC Consortium, which agrees on the use of the service. iArxiu to preserve and safeguard electronic files in force.
The Department has considered incorporating the functionalities of the service iArxiu within its Electronic Management System for Administrative Documentation, among other aspects, the security measures that allow to guarantee the integrity, authenticity, confidentiality, quality and protection of the stored documents; the possibility of complete access to the documents online and the traceability of all operations carried out on the files and archived documents and the guarantee of the protection of the electronic signature against its possible obsolescence.
The agreement establishes general conditions for the provision of the service such as security, the level of service or the initial storage fee and a coordination committee is set up whose purpose is to ensure the promotion of the project, linking this action with the project. SIGeDA and technically assess that the documentary series to be transferred by the departments and meet the minimum requirements mentioned. For their part, the departments and us will only have to fill in a membership and activation form for the service.
