For this news we learn that, with the aim of resolving the lack of drive of member states in the implementation of e-procurement, despite the obvious savings that this would entail, the European Commission has published the communication 'Delivering savings for Europe: moving to full e-procurement for all public purchases by 2016 ' which establishes a strategy so that in 2016 100% of public procurement is electronic.

In this sense on June 26, 2012 will take place the Conference 'Electronic procurement. Challenges and opportunities' where the benefits and actions to achieve this ambitious goal will be discussed.
