The resolution of January 26, 2012, from the Undersecretary of State, which publicizes the agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and the Ministry of the Interior, on the management assignment for the issuance of visas in fronteres, establishes that the visa application made at the front deskseres as well as the same resolution adopted in each case must be communicated electronically to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation to be recorded in its computer application. This regulation responds to the principle of access to information and collaboration between public administrations in matters of foreign affairs that was regulated by Organic Law 4/2000, on the rights and freedoms of foreigners in Spain.
