The Government, in its session of 24 January, approved the priority measures and projects to be developed during 2012 in order to promote the deployment of the Generalitat's electronic administration. It is expected that these will allow an overall saving of 1.000 billion euros during this legislature. As reported by the Vice President of the Government, Joana Ortega, "the current economic situation forces us to delve into those measures and lines in which the benefit to the citizen and companies are as obvious as possible."
The agreement declares the following services of the AOC Consortium as corporate solutions: EACAT as an electronic processing platform for procedures aimed at local administrations and the rest of the Catalan public sector, as well as for delivering texts to be published by the departments to the DOGC; e-NOTUM as a corporate system of electronic notifications and communications; e. FACT collaborating with the G systemeFACT as an electronic invoicing system; and digital certificate validation services i electronic signatures.
The specific lines of impetus are also approved, including interoperability, increasing the use of Catalog of data and electronic documents, as well as the list of corporate e-government projects to be developed during 2012, among which the AOC Consortium is entrusted with the service of representation and the definition of alternatives to digital certificates.
