The Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations has published the Order on the use of the secure verification code system (CSV) by the General Directorate of Cadastre

In the BOE no. 136 of June 7, 2012, has been published Order HAP / 1200/2012, of 5 June, on the use of the secure verification code system by the General Directorate of Cadastre. The purpose of this Order is to regulate the secure verification code (CSV) system as an electronic signature system for the DG of the Cadastre and the staff at its service and as a system for cataloging the electronic documents that are incorporated into the information system set up by the DG of the Cadastre.

The DG of Cadastre may use a CSV system linked to the acting public official, for the identification and authentication of the exercise of competence in any resolutive act, procedure or communication that requires his signature as a public employee. Documents signed in this way will not require the incorporation of the digital signature of the signatory. The linking of the electronic signature to the acting public official will be carried out through the intervention in the generation of the electronic signature, of the signature creation data associated with the identity of the signatory, which must be kept under his sole knowledge. The DG may use the CSV, without implying any signature of the document, the electronic documents presented by the interessubmitted through the Cadastre's electronic office. The office will return an acknowledgment of receipt of the submission, signed with its own CSV, which will have probative value.
