The Department of Culture, new idCAT registration entity

On 1 February, the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya inaugurated the Cultural Initiative Support Office (OSIC), within the framework of the “One-Stop Shop for Subsidies” (FUS) project, which aims to The department's grants are processed electronically with a digital certificate, so that the application for aid in cultural matters is facilitated, while improving its service through the simplification and standardization of documents. This project, which focuses on the use of electronic media, provides access to information and procedures for grants from the Department with the idCAT digital certificate. In this sense, the OSIC has complemented its services with the possibility of obtaining the idCAT at its headquarters.

THEIDCAT is the digital certificate for citizens offered by the Catalan Certification Agency.

In addition to the procedures of the Department of Culture, idCAT allows many others applications.
