The idCAT is a digital certificate issued by the Catalan Certification Agency, CATCert, which guarantees the identity of citizens on the Internet, and which allows them to electronically sign documents that they present to public administrations. IdCAT was born in 2004 and there are currently more than 250 registration entities with more than 1.500 operators that issue and manage idCAT in all Catalan counties (you can search for the nearest here without whose collaboration it would not have been possible to reach this milestone.
