European Digital Agenda: The EC proposes rules for making AAPP websites accessible to everyone

On the occasion of the celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the European Commission has announced a proposal for a Directive on the accessibility of websites of public sector bodies, which will introduce mandatory harmonized accessibility features for twelve types of jobs from the end of 2015. Mandatory accessibility would apply to essential administrative services such as social security and health services, job search, university enrollment and the issuance of documents and certificates personal (the complete list is in the appendix).
