The Health Protection Agency of the Department of Health launches electronic communications between regional services in Girona, Lleida and Central Catalonia and local entities throughEACAT
The Health Protection Agency (APS) is launching the electronic communications service with local bodies through the regional services in Girona, Lleida and Central Catalonia through the platform EACAT.
The project began on April 4 with the launch of electronic communications in public health between all local authorities in Catalonia and the Management of the Health Protection Agency and, at the same time, between the local bodies in the territorial area of Barcelona and the Regional Service in Barcelona. Since then, more than 400 electronic communications have been made with local bodies, which has meant, according to the Health Protection Agency itself, a saving of time and an economic saving of more than 8.000 euros.
The implementation of this second phase expands the regional services that use this service, and will end in the near future with the implementation in the other regional services of the APS.
Electronic communication with local bodies aims at the electronic processing of trades and other administrative documents with the incorporation of the electronic signature and the electronic register.
