The AOC consolidates its chatbots with AI: more people served, high level of quality and 96% savings
Currently, the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Catalonia for the local administrations (IDEC Local) consists of a network of 135 servers connected with geoinformation and cartographic data easily accessible and locatable through a catalog that optimizes the query. IDEC Local also includes a series of services and applications useful both for local bodies and for citizens linked to the promotion of geoinformation.
At the moment, 400 local entities use and have incorporated in their web pages one or more of the different types of map viewers (street, general maps, internal, quick, etc.).
To date, in addition to these 400 entities with IDEC Local map viewer, other data should be highlighted such as the 166 local entities that provide geoinformation with Web Map Service (WMS) or the 257 WMS services configured by these entities. It is also necessary to highlight the number of layers of geoinformation provided, a total of 3.600.
On the other hand, there are currently 134 municipalities that provide planning data with map servers. With regard to viewer accesses, the average number of accesses to the different viewers is 33.000 per month.
The service IDEC Local It has the leadership of the AOC Consortium and the technical support of the Institut Cartogràfic de Catalunya, manager of the IDEC Project, and wants the active participation of all local entities in the territory in the creation and maintenance of the Data Infrastructure services Spaces. The Local IDEC service advances with the clear vocation of promoting useful applications for both local bodies and citizens, all the while promoting the culture of geoinformation and the interoperability of geographic data.
