Castellar del Vallès City Council has received more than 4.000 digital applications through the e-TRAM service since its launch in July 2004. Castellar was a pilot municipality for e-TRAM and last year record of electronic procedures, with a total of 982.
Currently, the catalog of services on the Castellar municipal website includes 169 procedures, of which 25 can be done online. In terms of the most commonly used procedures, Open Mailbox messages (which include complaints and suggestions) account for more than 60% of the total with 505 procedures. Secondly, there are the procedures related to the census of inhabitants, with 25%, while the generic instances exceed 5%. The remaining procedures refer to applications for town planning certificates, the direct debit of taxes, fees and public prices, the removal of old furniture or the appointment with an elected office.
With regard to the Open Mailbox service, it should be noted that during the last quarter of 2009 the Castellar del Vallès Citizen Attention Service carried out a satisfaction survey via e-mail to its users. The results of the survey reveal a high rate of citizen satisfaction. 90% of users consider the use of this channel to be correct, satisfactory or very satisfactory. In addition, a similar percentage of citizens (88%) believe that the response time by the administration is adequate.
It should also be noted that during 2009 the number of citizens who have obtained theidCAT has increased by 48%.
You can access the final results of both the survey on the Open Mailbox service and the e-TRAM in Castellar del Vallès (72Kb).
