This service of the AOC Consortium allows the exchange of data and documentation between administrations in accordance with the regulations for the protection of personal data; it is a tool that saves citizens, companies and organizations unnecessary travel when dealing with public administrations since the administrations can consult the data they have.
Any Catalan public administration can adhere to the interoperability agreement.

To join the interoperability agreement, just fill out the document of adhesion to the interoperability agreement and send it to the AOC Consortium through theEACAT, specifically in the 'Secretary' section, 'AOC Services Request' procedure.
The agreement on the interoperability of information systems between public administrations was signed at the end of October 2006 with the representants of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Localret and Barcelona City Council.
The agreement established that during the first semester of 2007 a telematic platform would come into operation from which the aforementioned signatory institutions and the local administrations that adhere to it could consult, in accordance with the regulations for the protection of personal data, data and documentation that were requested from citizens each time that they wanted to do a procedure.
