New director of the Catalan Certification Agency

The Executive Committee of the AOC Consortium approved, at its meeting of September 30, 2009, the appointment of Xavier Tarrés Chamorro as the new director of the Catalan Certification Agency - CATCert.

A trained physicist, Tarrés has been the driving force behind the development of e-government in Sabadell City Council. Since 1997, he has led the ICT department and led the management of change towards a new model of citizen care and integration of municipal corporate data.
