High degree of achievement of the objectives of the AOC Consortium set for 2007

Among the stated objectives, the 17 new services developed in theEACAT, the extranet of the Catalan public administrations, a two-way electronic communication channel between administrations (mainly between local administrations and the Generalitat de Catalunya). These services are managed by organizations such as the general directorates of different departments, the Auditor General's Office, the Audiovisual Council of Catalonia, the AOC Consortium and the Catalan Certification Agency – CATCert, among others. With these services, more than 66 inter-administrative relationship procedures have already begun to be used. EACAT in its management.

It is also worth highlighting the work carried out in the data transmission services, certificates and electronic documents. An example of these services is the connection to the communications network between all public administrations, the so-called SARA Network of the Ministry of Public Administrations, through the technological platforms of the AOC Consortium and which allows access to transmissions of the General State Administration, among which stand out different certificates from the Tax Agency, the General Treasury of Social Security, the National Institute of Statistics and the General Directorate of Police. In the near futureeres weeks, the Catalan public administrations may access these services through theEACAT and web services.

The connection between the Consortium and different professional associations for the exchange of data between these bodies and the different public administrations is also of particular interest. In this sense, we highlight the connections already available with the associations of architects, industrial engineers, surveyors and the start of work with that of registrars and notaries.

With regard to the production of common electronic administration services and, in particular, management services and administrative processing through the e-TRAM (telematic processing module of the AOC Consortium), there is a notable increase in its implementation : 262 councils in production, 59 councils in pre-production, nine county councils initiated and five in pre-production, with a total of nearly 11.000 procedures carried out in 2007.
