The Consorci Administración Oberta Electrònica de Catalunya (Consorci AOC) has developed a service that allows access to visa documents in electronic format offered by the various professional associations via electronic means.
This service is aimed at public administrations that need these visa documents in their procedures in order not to require them in paper format.
The Generalitat de Catalunya, the Barcelona City Council, the Localret Consortium and the AOC Consortium have signed the framework agreement on the interoperability of information systems between public administrations that enables the AOC Consortium to sign agreements with professional associations to incorporate them into the data and document exchange system. The local administrations that adhere to this agreement will not need to sign a specific one with each professional association for the online consultation of the visa documents.
On February 13th, the first day of the AOC Consortium dedicated to the visa document consultation service was held in Girona and was attended by fifteen municipal officials from the areas of urban planning, architects and municipal technicians and architects professionals
The event was organized by the AOC Consortium and the College of Architects of Catalonia and had the support of the Diputació de Girona and Localret. This was the first of a series of meetings in which this new service, which was also presented at the Deputation of Tarragona at the beginning of March.
