Online access to municipal registers will soon cover around 43% of the Catalan population

Some of the most populous town councils in Catalonia, which have a total population of more than two million inhabitants, are currently included in the AOC project of the Telematic Register. This represents approximately 32% of the Catalan population. The short-term integration of about fifteen more municipalities that are in an advanced state, will mean that the population available in the services of this project will be about three million inhabitants, ie around 43% of the population of Catalonia.

In the case of less populated municipalities, integration is promoted through the management services of the municipal registers offered by the provincial councils. Once the work of connecting with these institutions is completed, the registers of about 13% of the population will be 'online'; percentage to be added to those available directly from the information systems of the aforementioned municipalities.
