End of the .cat domain reservation period

Next Friday, April 21, at 12 noon, the three-month period established by the Pun Foundation ends.tCat in order to facilitate the reservation of the .cat domain, among others, to local entities. The AOC Consortium through the signing of an agreement with the Pun FoundationtCat, is offered as a domain distributor to Catalan local entities. For this reason, the Consortium makes it available to the city councils, county councils and provincial governments of Catalonia and through theeaCat, www.eacat.net, an application form that can be found in the grants section.

The Consortium will subsidize the price of the domain registration for two years, but only in the case of the domain related to the toponym of the local entity. It should be added that the certificate of secure device (CDS) associated with this domain that the Catalan Certification Agency-CATCert provides and which has a duration of four years will also be subsidized.
