Continuous improvement of the Digital Maturity Index: how do we move forward?
The Council of the European Union (EU) has approved the Digital Services Directive (DSA, in English) which has as its main objective the fight against the proliferation of illegal content on the Internet and safeguarding the rights of users.
The DSA is focused on creating a safer digital environment for users and digital companies and on the protection of fundamental rights in the digital space through the establishment of new, more specific rules:

The Council adopted the Digital Services Directive on October 4, 2022. The new provisions will apply fifteen months after they come into force.
