In the DOGC of Monday, February 28, 2022, the RESOLUTION EDU / 464/2022, of 24 February, which approves the rules for pre-enrollment and enrollment of students in the centers of the Education Service of Catalonia and other schools, in the various courses supported with public funds, for the academic year 2022-2023.
As in the previous year, this year families will carry out the pre-registration process electronically. The application is formalized with the form available on the website of the Department of Education and it is expected that Education will obtain electronically much of the data needed to validate the alleged priority criteria.
Specifically, families will not be required to contribute coexistence flyers to justify the criterion of proximity to the center, but the Department of Education, when it has the consent of the applicants, will directly consult the cohabitation data of the families, when necessary.
At the same time, the resolution contemplates other types of actions, beyond the resolution of applications for pre-school enrollment, which involve the review of the data declared to detect a possible fraud in the recent registration.
Consequently, we inform you that these queries, as long as there is consent of applicants, will be performed electronically through interoperability queries in all municipalities that have the census online. For this reason, we would appreciate it pay special attention to the connection of your patterns, to date expiration of yours certificates, and to the resolution of incidents that you have knowledge and which may affect the normal operation of these queries.
The schedule for submitting applications for pre-registration for the different courses, which is related to the completion of these consultations, is as follows:
- Early Childhood Education and Primary Education: March 7-21, 2022
- Compulsory secondary education: From 9 to 21 March 2022
- Baccalaureate: April 20 to 26, 2022
