The Digicanvis Observatory: share and inspire other councils
CESICAT has launched the 'Practice healthy habits', with the aim of generating a new culture of security and trust in the Internet. The aim is for citizens to incorporate cybersecurity in their daily lives to make the network a safe space, respect and coexistence.
The campaign is part of the program Safe Internet, developed and implemented by the Center for Information Security of Catalonia (CESICAT) of the Department of Digital Policies. The aim is for the citizenry to rethink security habits on the network, whether using computers, cell phones or tablets.
On the positive side, five axes stand out:
Cybersecurity is a part of our daily activities in the network and the citizen, is the main actor. It is the user who has the capacity for action and decision-making.
Journalists Jordi basté, Mariola Dinarès, Ernest Codina i Màrius Serra; the actress Mont Plans, and the physicist and scientific disseminator, Dani Jiménez, are part of the campaign as testimonials, telling personal experiences in each of the areas.
The campaign is accompanied by training and awareness campaigns Guide to the practice of healthy habits cyber which provides tips and advice to protect yourself from the most common risks and threats.
Developed and executed by CESICAT, the program Safe Internet is the official program of the Government of Catalonia for raising public awareness of Internet security.
This program will articulate different actions under the leadership of the Department of Digital Policies and Public Administration, in coordination with other departments and agencies of the Generalitat and with the collaboration of other public or private entities.
