The intermediate certification entities in the hierarchy of the AOC Consortium have entered the final phase of their validity and the AOC Consortium has begun the tasks to manage this situation, applying the rationalization criterion that was communicated to you last November: changes to the certification hierarchy of the AOC Consortium.
This expiration process requires that from January 7, 2015 all the certificates issued from the Local Administration (EC ‐ AL) and Secretariat of Administration and Public Function (EC ‐ SAFP) certification entities They expire on January 7, 2019 and, therefore, are slightly less than 4 years.
External causes to the AOC Consortium are lengthening this situation. We are aware of the financial burden that this entails, and for this reason, the renewal of these certificates will be offset by adding the time required for the validity of the new certificates.
